USCIS Sources Provide Early, Unofficial Information on FY 2007 H-1B Filing Volume

Sources at USCIS indicate that the first two days of filings for H-1Bs for fiscal year 2007 are at about the same pace as last year. Last year, the cap was reached on August 10, 2005. USCIS expects to have a count of initial receipts within a week.
