H-1B Cap Count – as of April 5, 2012 – Double the cases filed as compared to last year about this time
USCIS has indicated that 22,323 cap-subject H-1B petitions have been receipted in as of April 4, 2012. About 25% of the petitions are for the U.S. advanced degree cap. USCIS indicated that the volume of cases receipted in so far this year are nearly double the same time last year.
